A looong time ago, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I was given a gig as a social media community manager. The only problem is that my company didn’t have a budget for scheduling tools or social media monitoring software. I had no choice but to build our own solution, which turned into Sprout Social.
We used it for 3+ years before I joined a much larger company and helped them build arguably the most successful B2B SaaS software company in the world: HubSpot. Now we’re using Sprout again–this time in a much bigger way to manage our $xMM ad spend, grow the forums around our blog and support our 15-strong blogger network–and couldn’t be Happier.
You can manage all of your social media channels in one place
Sprout Social is a social media management tool that allows you to monitor and respond to messages across all of your social media profiles in one place. With Sprout Social’s dashboard, you can view all of your messages at once and prioritize them so you know what to address first. You can also schedule posts so they go out when they’re most effective for engagement (like during lunch hours or after work).
Sprout Social also has several features that make it easier to manage multiple accounts:
You can create groups so you can organize different types of accounts together in one place — like email lists or blogs — or separate teams within your organization (like marketing versus customer service). You can also add other users as members of these groups so they have access to the same information as everyone else in their group.
You can find, create and schedule content for each individual network.
Sprout Social is a social media management platform that makes it easy for businesses to manage their social media accounts across several networks. It can also be used to create and schedule content for each individual network.
Sprout Social offers a free version, but it also has several paid plans for people who want more advanced features.
The free version includes unlimited users, unlimited messages, analytics and reporting, as well as support from the community. You can upgrade to any of the paid plans if you need more features like support for multiple accounts or bulk scheduling.
In addition to being able to manage all of your social media accounts in one place, Sprout Social also allows you to track your competitors’ activity on social media so that you can see what they’re doing right — or wrong — before deciding how you want to handle similar situations in the future.
You can monitor your accounts and see what is being said about your company and industry.
Sprout Social is a social media management platform that lets you monitor, schedule and publish to all of your social media accounts in one place.
Sprout Social has a very large library of pre-built reports, so you can see what’s happening on your accounts in real time. You can also use the platform to track the performance of your content and make adjustments as needed.
The Sprout Social dashboard allows you to view detailed analytics for each individual post or campaign, including the number of times it was liked and shared by others, as well as how many times it was replied to or commented on by others. This makes it easier for you to determine which posts are performing best and adjusting accordingly.
You can set up reports to see which posts are doing the best so you can create more content like them.
Sprout Social has a lot of great features, but one of the best is that you can set up reports to see which posts are doing the best so you can create more content like them.
To get started, head over to the Posts tab and select all your posts by clicking the first one, then holding down shift and clicking on the last one. Then click Report as Posts. You’ll see this screen:
Now, here’s where it gets fun! On the left side under Category, choose “Best performing.” You can also sort by Date or Engagement (or both). I find it helpful to sort by date because it gives me an idea of when my followers are most active.
Once you’ve chosen which columns you want to see in your report, click Generate Report at the top (make sure it says Best performing!). It’ll take a minute for Sprout Social to crunch the numbers and give you an answer.
You can set up reports to see which posts are getting the most engagement, so you can create more content like them with Sprout.
Here’s how:
1. Click on the dropdown menu at the top right of your main dashboard and select “Reports”.
2. Select “Engagement” in the left-hand menu and then click “Create Report”.
3. Select “Posts” from the drop-down menu, then choose which page you want to view reports on (if applicable). Then select the dates range you want to view your data by (it’s important to select an appropriate date range).
4. Select what type of engagement you want to see in your report — clicks, likes, comments or shares — then click “View Report”. You’ll see a list of posts that fall within that time frame and their corresponding stats.
You can manage customer service requests as they come in from various networks
You can manage customer service requests as they come in from various networks with sprout social.
It’s important that you provide a good customer service experience for your customers, especially if you want to keep them coming back. If people have questions or concerns about something related to your business, they can reach out to you through social media.
The problem is that it’s impossible for a small business owner to monitor every single post and comment on every social network. That’s where sprout social comes in.
Sprout Social is a web-based platform that allows you to track and respond to comments across all of your social accounts in one place. It also allows you to schedule posts across multiple platforms, so you don’t have to spend all day on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest trying to upload content manually.
You can schedule posts ahead of time saving you lots of time throughout the week
One of the best things about social media is that it’s always on. You can post whenever you want, and you don’t have to worry about missing out on business.
But for many businesses, this leaves something to be desired. The issue is not just that posting at the wrong time will get you fewer views, but also that it takes up time to prepare posts in advance.
If you’re looking for a way to save time scheduling posts, then Sprout Social may be the solution for you. Here’s why:
1. Scheduling Posts Ahead of Time
One of the most useful features of Sprout Social is its ability to schedule social media posts ahead of time — say, once per week or once per day — and then post them automatically at their scheduled times without any further action required from you. This saves a lot of time over having to spend time each day creating new content and scheduling it individually.
